Launch of new Hong Kong Workcamps
VolTra will organize 3 Hong Kong workcamps in the coming year. We will re-run the Warehouse International Workcamp in August 2011 and January 2012 with the themes of environmental work and festival work respectively. Revision of Fee Policy
To promote the participation of international workcamps organized in
the economically disadvantaged countries, a new Fee Policy will take
into effect from 1 February 2011. Workcamp countries will be divided
into 2 zones in which their application fees will be different. There
will be no change in the existing application procedure and covenant.

VolTra was officially approved as the full member of the Coordinating Committee for International Voluntary Service (CCIVS) at its meeting on 5 December 2010. CCIVS was founded in 1948 under the aegis of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). |

has become the full member of NVDA!
The Chairperson of VolTra attended the 7th General Assembly cum the 8th
Training & Networking Workshop in Taiwan from 17 to 26 January 2010. A total
of 30 representatives from 12 countries and 16 workcamp organizations attended
this international conference. VolTra was officially approved as the full
member of the Network for Voluntary Development in Asia (NVDA) at the meeting on 23 January 2010. |
