Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, plan, and implement overseas volunteer projects with universities and partners, including setting project goals, timelines, budgets, and milestones.

• Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with partners, sponsors, and stakeholders to ensure the success of the project.

• Prepare and submit proposals and presentations to attract support for the project.

• Lead and manage a team of camp leaders, volunteers, local hosts and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.

• Coordinate with external service providers and overseas partnes to secure services such as accommodation, transportation, and meals for the workcamp participants.

• Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies to raise awareness and increase participation in the workcamp.

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the project, and prepare regular reports on project progress and outcomes.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, regulations, and standards.

 

Qualifications:

• A university degree or equivalent, with a post-graduate qualification being a plus.

• At least 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience in project management, preferably with exposure to NGOs/ education  and/or social service settings.

• Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese, both verbal and written.

• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills with strong personal drive, innovative mindset, creativity, and a strong sense of ownership.

• A career interest in cross-cultual and volunteer projects, especially those related to youth and education.

• Solid experience in dealing with the government, NGOs, schools, and overseas organization, and a project or event management would be an added advantage.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively for teamwork.

• Knowledge and experience in fundraising and funding management would be an advantage.
