VolTra is a youth-focused charity dedicated to Action Learning, global citizenship, and meaningful journeys. We are seeking a passionate, people-oriented people to nurture our community of changemakers and ensure the smooth execution of our local and overseas impact programs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Action Learning Programmes (Local and Global)

  • Assist in the preparation and operation of local impact programs and overseas placements, handling the essential logistics and coordination to ensure smooth and life-changing experiences.
  • Act as the bridge between VolTra and participants to support their learning and engagement during and after local events or overseas workcamps.
  • Manage essential operational processes such as application processing and database maintenance with precision to ensure every volunteer’s journey is handled with care.
  • Collaborate on ad hoc projects that expand the organization’s reach and positive social impact.

2. Alumni Community Building

  • Mobilize and nurture our network of alumni, providing opportunities for them to grow, return as mentors, and use their talents to drive future initiatives.
  • Serve as the VolTra representative on social media and digital channels, offering empathetic support to aspiring volunteers and guiding them through their changemaker journey.

3. Impact Storytelling

  • Uncover and amplify the impactful stories of our community, transforming participant experiences into touching content that promotes the spirit of volunteering.

Project Officer  (Global Project)

The Project Officer (Global Project) will support the planning and execution of overseas programs, ensuring seamless coordination with international partners and high-quality participant experiences. This role involves managing logistics, developing project materials, and fostering a strong global community of change-makers. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and skilled in cross-cultural communication, with a passion for international volunteerism and impactful global engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a professional ambassador for VolTra, extending a warm welcome and providing exceptional support to managing related operational processes.
  • Assist in the development, planning, and implementation of overseas and local projects, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines, milestones, and established processes.
  • Coordinate with partners to secure logistics (accommodation, volunteer work, cultural experiences, transportation, meals, etc) for workcamp participants.
  • Create high-quality publications aligned with the organization’s branding and messaging; monitor, evaluate, and report on project progress, outcomes, and impact.
  • Actively foster and nurture a professional and supportive community of change-seekers and change-makers, fostering meaningful and impactful actions.
  • Serve as VolTra facilitator and tour escort for global and local projects as needed.
  • Provide professional assistance on various ad hoc projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary degree holder, majoring in Travel Management, Social Science, Management, Communications, or a related discipline is an advantage.
  • People-oriented, detail-minded, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess an outgoing and friendly demeanor with exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese, with the ability to motivate and inspire through enthusiasm, drive, and professionalism.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word, with a keen eye for detail and an ability to produce high-quality work.
  • Prior experience in international workcamp, volunteer projects, exchange programs or event hosting will be advantageous.
  • Outbound escort license holder is an added advantage.
